Tura Beach Country Club Awards Club Grants to Local RFS Brigades

August 7, 2026

Clubs of the Bega Valley Unite to Support Local Communities

This morning, the Clubs of the Bega Valley gathered at Club Sapphire to announce the recipients of the Category 1 Club Grants. A total of over $120,000 was distributed amongst 19 organisations carrying out essential community-focused work across the region.

Tura Beach Country Club is proud to have contributed to this important initiative. We are pleased to announce that we have funded projects for two outstanding local organisations – Burragate Rural Fire Brigade and Towamba Rural Fire Brigade. Both brigades play a vital role in keeping our communities safe, and it is an honour to support the incredible work they do.

Celebrating the Work of Our Community Organisations

Our CEO Sharon attended the announcement this morning, personally congratulating all the beneficiaries on their dedication and hard work. Seeing so many clubs come together to invest in the region is a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we work as one.

The ClubGRANTS program reflects the heart of what clubs are all about – giving back to the communities that support them. Across the Bega Valley, these grants are helping local organisations deliver meaningful outcomes for the people who need it most.

Together, we can all make a difference. Congratulations to all 19 recipient organisations, and a special acknowledgement to Burragate Rural Fire Brigade and Towamba Rural Fire Brigade for the essential service they provide to our community.
