Golf Competitions

Visiting golfers are most welcome to enter any of our competitions, and encouraged to do so. Visitors with a current Golflink number are always welcome to join any of our competition days. Call our Pro Shop on 02 6495 9068.

Our friendly members would love to show you around our challenging and picturesque course. After your hopefully successful round, relax in the clubhouse and maybe spot a whale or two.

    Friday 25th of October - Kurnell Sport and Rec Club - 11am to 12pm.

    Friday 8th of November - Course closed from first light until 1pm for a Charity Golf Event.

    Friday 15th of November - Specialist Electrical + Sharks Ladies from 7:30am to 10am.

    Friday 22nd of November - Sutherland Sharks Football Club - 8am hit off - approx 32 players.

    Friday 29th of November - Sutherland Cricket Golf Day - 8am shotgun start approx 80 players + 60 players from 12:30pm to 3pm.

    Play the spectacular THOMSON/WOLVERIDGE designed Championship Course.

    MAIN TOURNAMENT EVENTS:

    Friday, 23rd May 2 person Medley Ambrose (with $2,000 in prizes)
    Saturday, 24th May
    Sunday, 25th May    		 36 Hole Men's Open Championship
    36 Hole Men's Senior Amateur Classic (for 50+)

    Note: This event is played in conjunction with the Tura Open. Competitions also conducted on Tuesday (Men's), Wednesday (Ladies) & Thursday (Medley).

    VISITORS IN COMPETITIONS

    • Visitors from other golf clubs are welcome in all members competitions – booking restrictions apply.
    • Please note bookings will only be accepted 1 day prior to the competition day with the exception of our Friday Opt-In Comp. All golfers are able to book into Friday 8 days in advance from 6pm online.
    • Visitors playing in Tuesday (Womens) and Saturday (Mens) competitions are NOT eligible to win the Sponsored Event prizes. Visitors can however win NTPs and Pro Pins (optional $2 entry).
    • Pensioner / Senior concessions only apply for Social Golf Rounds and Opt-In Competition Rounds on Fridays.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

    • Prices displayed online are an indication only – all payments are to be made upon arrival to the Pro shop. Please note Weekend Green Fee Rates apply on all Public Holidays.
    • A limited quantity of Electric Cart Bookings are now available online – if the system shows that cart bookings have been exceeded, please call the Pro Shop on 9523 3882.
    • Twilight Golf is available from 3pm during non-daylight savings time and 4pm during daylight savings time.
    • For larger social groups (16 players or more) or corporate events please contact Brad Ulph, our Director of Golf, on bookings@turabeachcc.wpenginepowered.com with your preferred date/time and player numbers.
