City Week of Golf – Sapphire Coast

The 43rd City Week of Golf  will be held on the Sapphire Coast from Saturday 1st November to Friday 7th November 2025.

If you are looking for the perfect “golfing getaway” to escape the stress of city life, then City Week of Golf  hosted by the Tura Beach Country Club on the beautiful Sapphire Coast in the Merimbula area is an obvious choice.

Renowned for its hospitality and friendly locals, the Sapphire Coast offers a wealth of golfing experiences as well as its ideal weather, superb beaches, pristine forests and captivating rural villages. Merimbula is just 6 hours from Melbourne by car, or a 1 hour flight with Regional Express Airways (REX).

The City Week of Golf  is an institution in the area having run continually on New South Wales’s very popular Far South Coast for 42 years, since its inception in 1983. The mixed event is open to players that reside 100+ Kms from Merimbula and is held in the first week of November, from Sunday to Friday, with a rest day for the Melbourne Cup.

The event is played on 5 different courses over the 6 days. They include the challenging and undulating Bermagui, the picturesque Eden Gardens, the spectacular Peter Thompson designed Tura Beach, the intriguing Pambula-Merimbula, and the charming rural layout at Bega.

City Week of Golf  features a separate competition each day and culminates in a 36-hole championship over the final 2 days.

Registration opens on the Saturday prior to the first round with a Welcome Party at Tura Beach Country Club and the event closes with the Presentation Lunch following the golf on Friday.
